Transplanted Tissue Shows Promise In Reducing Insulin Shots
Reuters is reporting a new study that shows promise for diabetes patients who must take insulin shots. In clinical trials, doctors transplanted cells the produce insulin and the patient involved was able to go an entire year without taking insulin shots!
